The Church as a Venue

St. Mary's is available as a venue for Meetings, Recitals, Concerts, Drama, Dancing, Workshops, Exhibitions, Wedding Receptions, Arts and Community Events.

Internally the structure is unusual in that it affords a main area to have an uninterrupted view from all the seating - a feature unique in East Kent for a venue of its size.

Facilities:

  • Large Demountable Stage (carpeted) Size: 10.2 m. wide x 4.9m. deep - courtesy of the Sandwich Festival Association.
  • Large Open Floor Space
  • Adjacent Car Parking for 100 cars
  • 300 upholstered chairs and 10 white trestle tables.
  • Lighting & Emergency Lighting
  • Sound System
  • Full Heating System
  • Mobility Ramp
  • Electrical Sockets at stage and west end
  • Induction Loop
  • 3 Toilets (including disabled facility).
  • Kitchenette and Servery

SSMCT, in agreement with TCCT and other involved bodies has raised the funds to provide the above venue facilities.
