St. Mary's Church, Sandwich
St. Mary's is the oldest church site in the Ancient Cinque Port of Sandwich and it remains consecrated. The Church is situated within the old historic core of the town - all designated as a Conservation Area. The building is in the care of The Churches Conservation Trust (TCCT), a national body which overseas several hundred churches selected for their historic and architectural value. Sandwich St. Mary's Community Trust (SSMCT) is a Charity registered in September 1997 whose aims are to improve the facilities at St. Mary's Church, for the better enjoyment of music and the arts, to the benefit of Sandwich and the surrounding area of East Kent.
